elevated BfeQ4 God called Angelo Cilio peacefully on July 11, 2025 at the age of 85 with his loving wife of 62 years, Anna by his side. Cherished by his dear children Melodie (Paolo) and Evan (Laura).
elevated BfeQ4 Proud and adored nonno to Beatrice, Julia, Michaela, Isabella and Massimo. He will always be remembered by his siblings Gino and Rina.
elevated BfeQ4 Angelo is now reunited in Heaven with his parents Giuseppe and Silvia; and his siblings Maria, Nilo and Lidia. Angelo emigrated from Cosa (San Giorgio Della Richinvelda), Pordenone , Italy in 1959. His skill as a carpenter kept him busy well past retirement age. His free time was spent up at the cottage and in Acapulco but his favourite was spending time with his growing family. Keeping his lawn and garden meticulously arranged was his passion. All who met “Angelin” took an instant liking to him and he was always open to share a glass of his home made wine or a “Pagura”.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Angelo can be made out to the Trillium Health Partners Foundation directed specifically to the Mississauga Site in regards to the Cardiac Unit https://secure.trilliumgiving.ca/site/TR/Memorial/THPF?px=1519233&pg=personal&fr_id=1090

I had the pleasure of chatting with Angelo at the Famee Furlane Friuliscious dinner in February. A gentleman with always a kind word and big supporter of the Famee Furlane Club. I will miss Angelin at our gatherings.

Angelin was my Nonno Adriano’s best friend, and their friendship was something truly special. Anyone who met Angelin knows what a bright light he was always full of warmth and kindness. My heartfelt condolences to the entire Cilio family during this difficult time. I hope Angelin and my Nonno have found each other again and are gardening together in heaven, surrounded by peace and beauty. 🤍
I was heartbroken to hear about the passing of Zio Angelin. He was like an uncle to me. He was always so full of joy, laughter, and warmth. His happiness was truly contagious, and being around him always made things feel lighter and brighter.
I will miss him dearly. He made such a lasting impact on everyone he met, and I know why my dad and Angelin were such great friends. Please know that I’m holding you Zia Anna, Melodie and Evan in my thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

Dear Zia, Evan, Melodie, Laura, Paolo and all of your beautiful children, We are so sad for your loss. Zio Angelin was a one in a million type of person who knew instantly how to make you feel at home, comfortable and welcome when he was near. He could do anything and everything and was always there to lend a helping hand, share whatever he had with others and his jokes and sidebars never failed to make me giggle. I treasure my trips in the summer to see you all when I was young and the family gatherings that we shared with you all.
