It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Angelo in Maple, Ontario at the age of 43. Angelo is survived by his loving wife Maria Gwendolyn (nee Abaloyan); Parents Domenico and Lina Caputo; Sister Rosanna (Corrado) Rizza; Brother Salvatore (Natalie) Caputo; Brother in law Wendell (Shalyn) Abaloyan and Sister in law Rochelle; Nieces Alessia, Isabella, Chloe, Kate and Kaye; Nephews Gianluca and JohnPaul; Aunts and uncles Zio Joe (Nella), Zia Maria (deceased Angelo) and Zia Lina (deceased Angelo) and all his cousins. Angelo will be missed and lovingly remembered by his many family and friends here in Canada and around the world.

To the Caputo Family, we meet you all during one of the hardest times of both our lives. My mother and Angelo were both at the dialysis unit in Maple. At the beginning I was always wondering who he was the loud guy either cracking jokes or speaking up. Little did I know my mom and him would become life long friends and we would be welcomed into your beautiful family. As daunting as that time was he was always there to brighten my moms day and help her laugh during those trying times. When he finally revived his kidney because of Gwen my mom was so happy but she really missed him. Dom and Lina, you always were so kind and so welcoming and would still go and visit my mom whenever you could during her treatment. We are so lucky to have friends who are family like you. My heart is broken for you all. Gwen it takes a special angel to do what you did for Angelo and to have such big love to be beside him. I’m so sorry for your loss. He fought so hard and bravely during all his health battles and had such an amazing support team. Im sure my mom was there to help greet him at heavens gate with all his loved ones, and I’m sure he was probably cracking a joke to her. Our families deepest condolences on the loss of such an amazing young man. His memories and love will be with you and guide you all until you meet again.

I was so sorry to hear of your loss of Angelo. I too met him at the dialysis clinic and have many memories of Angelo’s many stories he would tell as we did our session. I remember how excited he was when he knew he was getting a transplant thanks to his loving wife Gwen and the paired exchange program. Even after his transplant when he came to visit the clinic Angelo and Gwen and also Dom would always come to say hi to me. He was a one of a kind guy who was full of life. I know he will be missed by all of his family. God Bless. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. 🙏🙏 May he rest in peace.
Angelo and I were friends in High school, he was a funny guy, never a dull moment. He will be sorely missed RIP
We are ao sorry for the loss of Angelo. We have fond memories seeing him at the brit and others times at the hospital.,where he became friends with my Husband/father they both connected after having kidney problems. My daughter also remembers him growing up , Angelo was a kind caring guy. He will be deeply misses by all.
