elevated ZFojl Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Angiolina De Berardis in Richmond Hill, on August 24, 2022, at the age of 95. She is now reunited with her beloved husband Guido who predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her two younger brothers, Pierino and Alberto Paoletti, and her younger sister, Maria Vittorini. Angiolina is survived by her son Roberto (Filomena), her granddaughter Angela (Andrea) Federici and their two children, Sienna and Luca, and grandson Paul (Bianca) De Berardis and their two children, Celeste and Ilaria. She is also survived by her younger sister Livia (Berardo) Guerrieri and their two children, Italo (Mary) Guerierri, and their children Sebastian and Xavier, Carlo (Fara) Guerierri and their children Livia and Matteo. Angiolina is also survived by her niece, Carina Paoletti, as well as two other sisters and many nieces and nephews in Italy. Nonna Angiolina cherished her grandchildren, Angela and Paul, who were a focal point of her life as she took much interest and helped in their upbringing by teaching them valuable life lessons while giving them her unconditional love. Her life and work ethics were exceptional, as was her faith, perseverance and resilience in the face of all adversities she encountered. Her four great grandchildren gave her immeasurable joy and she was able to keep a presence in their lives by participating in regular phone and face time chats and visiting with them. Angiolina was a cherished and trusted friend to many people over her long life and kept in touch with them in person and by phone. Her friends regarded her as a member of their respective families and valued her involvement and wisdom. Due to many orthopedic injuries and joint replacement surgeries in her senior years, she lost her mobility and became a resident of the Langstaff Square Care Community in Richmond Hill, where she was well taken care of by the many health care workers and staff at that nursing home for the last three years of her life. Angiolina will be remembered by her family for her courageous, feisty and strong willed character, but most of all for her unwavering love and protectiveness of her loved ones. Her homemade delicious meals that she loved to prepare for her family, for so many years, will be missed but the love she put into every meal will not be forgotten.  Her family and friends will remember her many unique qualities, her numerous expressions and her fierce devotion to those she loved.  May she now rest in eternal peace.
