elevated T8ptC Anna Maria Stella (Scorcia), daughter of the late Vittorio and Caterina Scorcia passed away from this earthly life on August 10, 2025 to be with her beloved parents in Heaven. She passed after a short illness, peacefully surrounded by her husband David and her devoted family.
elevated T8ptC Anna was born on February 24, 1950 in San Nicola da Crissa, Calabria, Italy. She immigrated to Toronto in 1956 with her mother, grandmother and three sisters. They were greeted by their father who arrived two years earlier to make a new and better life for the Scorcia family.
elevated T8ptC She has lived most of her married life in Toronto. Anna leaves behind her most loyal, loving husband and best friend David Perry, married for 42 years, and her most beautiful, smart, and caring daughter, Nicole, her husband Jeff and her most precious grandson, Cooper.
elevated T8ptC Anna was blessed to be surrounded by 6 siblings.
elevated T8ptC Linda Sunnucks, her husband Bob Sunnucks and their three children, partners and grandchildren. Jeannette and Theo, Christopher and Elena and Laura and Daniel. And their children, Lia, Nicolas, Tatiana, Adriano, Daniel Jr, and Bianca.

elevated T8ptC Vicki Niven, her husband James and their 2 children and grandchildren. Michelle and her children Mya, Ryan and Tyler. Jamie and his spouse Kim and their son James Jr.

elevated T8ptC Anna’s passing has left a huge void in the hearts of her beloved family and friends. She was the most kind, generous, compassionate person you could ever meet, 100% loyal to her family. Never a bad word to say to, or about, anyone. She would do anything for any one of them. Let’s always remember Anna for the way she lived her life, with kindness and compassion. She will be missed, and although she is physically gone, her soul will live forever through the memories of her loved ones. Anna will, even from Heaven, look out for her beloved family.

Sharing many Christmas Eves, birthdays and other celebrations with the Scorcia family growing up I always remember Anna fondly and always welcoming me as one of your own.
I will always remember her as a loving wife and mother and an amazing aunt to all her nieces and nephews.

We were so lucky to have met and grown to know Anna when Jeff and Nicole met and leading up to, and including, their marriage. Anna was so sweet and kind and will be missed.

Having known Anna since 1968, first as school pals and after as best fiends, it is difficult imagining that she is no longer with us. I rejoice knowing that God has met her with open arms in Heaven. Our sincerest and deepest condolences to Anna’s family and friends. She will be sorely missed by her beloved husband David, daughter Nicole (her husband Jeff), her precious grandson Cooper, and her siblings and their families, Linda, Terri, Vicki, Tom, Nick and Carlo. May God grant us strength to grieve our loss in our own way. We all grieve differently, there is no right or wrong way. Some of us alone, and others together, remembering and sharing wonderful memories. May Anna rest peacefully in heavens gardens and let’s celebrate her life and all she gave us by keeping her memory alive in our thoughts and actions, always and forever.
