elevated bo4Em When Anna gave you a big smile there was always a sparkle in her eye. She was a proud woman, who felt most comfortable taking care of her family. Extremely strong, nothing could get in her way, whether it was a broken wrist or wildlife trying to get into her garden. She enjoyed the summer months the most tending to her vegetables and admiring the flowers. In recent years her family has grown quite a bit, giving her new people to tell all her amazing stories to. She will be missed by all especially her son Eddy, her granddaughter Kristina and her grandson Daniel.
What a lovely woman Anna was. I’m glad to have known her and will always remember her fondly. May she rest in peace.
Deepest sympathies to the entire family on the loss of this great matriarch. May happy memories of her fill your hearts.
Dear Eddy, Kristina and Daniel. Im so sorry for the loss of your mother and grandmother. May she rest peacefully.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her.
I will always remember several things about zia Anita, as we called her. First and foremost, she was an exceptional cook. Her stuffing and cakes are seared in my memory. She also loved to play cards and, while zio Primo was loud and banged the cards down, she would quietly take the hand with a sly smile. When we played 31 after a wonderful, satisfying holiday meal, zia would call out Trent-un, Trent-un, Trent- un. When we asked why she did this, she would explain that you had to welcome 31 or it would not come. She also had a very dry wit and would tell it like it is. I remember her saying to me, soon after my wedding, as long as your bomboniere was on your dresser, the marriage was easy and happy, but after a few months or years, after you decide to put the bomboniere away, it’s a different story!!!! She was funny. I will miss her and all the old folks who came to Canada and stuck together to become a new family. Rest In Peace, you deserve it.
Our deepest condolences for your loss
I may have met Mrs Zanini once or twice, but from those encounters, I recall her sweet disposition. On behalf of myself and my family, I wish to offer heartfelt condolences to Eddie, Daniel, Christina and all who knew her and loved her. May she rest in peace.
Dear Eddy & family,
We were very sorry to hear about the passing of your Mom and grandmother. I remember the twinkle in her eyes and my Mom has very fond memories of her kindness, including the generous gift of a high chair when I was born. Another end of an era – gone but definitely not forgotten. May you take comfort in knowing she is with your Dad now and they are watching over all of you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. May she Rest In Peace.

Dear Kristina, our deepest condolences to you and your family. May strength and comfort in each other keep you in this time. I will always remember the stories of Nonna during our lunch times. And the picture of her very colourful bathroom. May she rest in peace.

Although it has only been a couple of years since meeting Nonna, what we will remember most is how welcome she made us feel during the family gatherings. No language was needed, her twinkling eyes and sweet smile said it all. We will miss visiting with her. May she rest in peace.
