elevated cLPIn It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Marie Fagan born March 29, 1930 in Rushoon, Newfoundland.
elevated cLPIn Proud of her Newfoundland roots, Marie carried the warmth, humour and strong spirit of the island with her throughout her life. Marie came to Toronto as a young bride after the war, where she and her beloved husband Mike built a life and raised their family.
elevated cLPIn She is predeceased by her husband Mike, her three sons, Johnny, Billy and Carl and her beloved sisters Betty and Doris. Marie will be remembered for her resilience, her story telling and her love for family and home.
elevated cLPIn Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
We were wowed by her amazing memories and stories when we picked her up and brought her to Aunt Doris’s funeral in December. She spoke about working for Eaton through the Post Office in St Marie’s and learning Mortis Code to do the orders. She was 16. Just amazing.
