Obituary
It is with sadness and much love that we announce the passing of Anna Perfetti in Toronto, surrounded by the love of her family.

elevated BA3wk Anna was born in Pietracamela, Italy, to the late Francesco and Maria Sabatini. She came to Canada in 1953 at the age of 18, accompanied by her mother and two brothers, Mario and Guido. Although she made Canada her home, Anna never lost her connection to her Italian roots. She spoke fondly and often of her beloved hometown of Pietracamela and carried the traditions and memories of her homeland throughout her life.

elevated BA3wk Anna was predeceased by her first beloved husband, Lino Perfetti, who passed away on April 28, 1989, and her second beloved husband, Benito De Prospo, who passed away on August 28, 2023. She was grateful for the love and memories they shared throughout her life.

elevated BA3wk She was a proud and loving mother to Francesco (Rose), Raniero, and Giancarlo. A cherished Nonna to Andrea (Alberino) and Daniel, and an adored Bisnonna to Alessio, Amilia, and Adalina. Her family was the center of her world, and she found immense joy in caring for her children.

elevated BA3wk Anna was also known for her wonderful cooking and the love she put into preparing meals for her family.

elevated BA3wk Anna will be lovingly remembered by her brothers, Mario (Mary) Sabatini and Guido (Domenica) Sabatini, who held a special place in her heart. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched throughout her life.

elevated BA3wk Anna had a deep devotion to St. Gabriel throughout her life. 

elevated BA3wk Anna’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

elevated BA3wk The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Humber Meadows Long Term Care Home for the care, compassion, and kindness shown to Anna during her time with them.

elevated BA3wk In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations in Anna’s memory be made to Humber Meadows Long Term Care Home.
