elevated a3c0E Born in Singapore on May 6, 1935, she was the first among her family of 13 siblings to go overseas, and studied French at the Sorbonne in Paris. Returning to Singapore, she opened a hairdressing salon and then a clothing boutique. She immigrated to Canada in 1985, and later to the south of Spain with her husband Niel. She returned to Canada in 2014 after Niel’s passing.
