On December 31, 2020, Annunziata De Filippis loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and great grandmother passed away at age 85 peacefully at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born on March 11, 1935 in Bitritto, Bari, Italy. Her and her late Husband Vito immigrated to Canada and settled in Ontario. They eventually purchased a farm in Markham, Ontario where they made their living and raised a family until her husband passed in 1991.

Annunziata, or Nancy as many of her friends called her, had a passion for life on the farm. She continued living there, gardening, raising chickens and caring for her many cats and rabbits until very recently. She was a member of the Richmond Hill Social and Bocce Club where she enjoyed playing Tombola and dancing with her friends. She was dearly loved and will be missed by her immediate family, devoted nieces and nephews and many friends.

Annunziata was preceded in death by her parents, Donato and Filomena Bellino, her brother Rocco, her sisters-in-law Cecilia, Filomena, and Paolina and her brothers-in-law Michele, Raffaele D., Raffaele G., Giuseppe and Angelo.

She is survived by her sister Maria, her brother Saverio, her sisters-in-law Maria and Rosa. She is also survived by her son Donato, his wife Carmela; grandson Vito and his wife Melodi; grandson Joseph and his wife Emily; granddaughter Nancy and her fiancé Corey; and great grandchildren Leila and Daniel
