Deepest condolences to the whole family.
Your mom is looking down and knows that she has a beautiful caring family that she is very proud of. Sorry for your Loss. Thinking of you
We are deeply saddened by the loss of a great woman, mother and grandmother, her heart was full of love that she has always given to everyone with great generosity. I remember her joy, her positivity, her way of welcoming. even if inside her there was no lack of thoughts for uncle Ernesto and, in the most difficult moments, she tried to make things lighter … It has always been so natural to love her and even if she has finished her earthly journey we know that the Lord welcomed her and reunited her with her loved ones. From now on he will protect and watch over you as he always has and his memory will remain indelible. It will not be easy to fill the void he left but he also left a great legacy to all of you: his great asset and his beautiful smile. Rest in peace dear aunt, we will always wish you a great good. Mirella, Luca and Lorenzo. You have been an example of life and courage🙏❤️🌹
Our heartfelt condolences to Enzo Christine and Enzo’s sisters. May god give you all strength to bare the pain during this difficult time. May her soul Rest In Peace

Our most heartfelt condolences Rosa and Frank Ferreri & Family.
On March 27th Heaven gained another angel. To the person who showed me what it truly meant to be a strong and powerful woman. Nonna, I can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve done and taught me. Itbreaks my heart to know it couldn’t be with you last year with us. You lived a great, long life and accomplish so much. All 10 of us grandkids are honored to have you as such an amazing role model to look up to, and Berkeley is so fortunate that she got to meet her incredible Bisnonna. You fought so hard, but now God knew it was your time to be at rest.
Everyone has told me I look like you the most. To me that is the greatest compliment I can receive because you are such a beautiful woman, inside and out. I just hope that one day I can become half the women you are. I hope you are proud of me, and who I have become. I know you will be by my side throughout everything in my life like when I walk down the aisle and have kids of my own one day.
You have left us all with so many amazing memories and stories that we will cherish and tell for the rest of our lives.
You truly were, and forever will the glue to our family. Your absence at family occasions will forever leave a void in our hearts, and your seat at our table could never be filled. You truly were the life of the party and lightened up the whole room with your smile.
Friday nights have not been the same since our weekly sleepovers have stopped. I miss waking up every Saturday to sound of your Italian gospel music playing, and the smell of french toast because you knew that was my favorite. Then you telling me to go get your dentures so you could enjoy it with me. While eating breakfast you would tell me about how much of a pain I was to sleep next to because I would cuddle and sleep on top of you all night. I just wish we could have had one more sleepover and that I would have hugged you tighter the last time I saw you.
Although I will miss our vacations, and you stuffing the whole breakfast buffet in mommy’s beach bag, you’ve made it to the greatest destination of all, heaven. I know Nonno has been waiting for you, and he and God have welcomed you with open arms. It brings me joy knowing that you are happily at rest and will forever be watching over us and will be our guardian angel.
Nonna, my cuddle and travel buddy, greatest role model, and best friend. Not a day will go by where I will not think about you. I hope we meet again one day.
Ti amo sempre,
Baci, Baci, Baci,
Lorena

Nonna Tina
In life, If you’re lucky enough, you’ll cross paths with a soul who embodies incredible strength, extraordinary love, witt, patience, selflessness, power and resilience. And when you do, you live in pure awe of the wonder that you’ve been so lucky to call your own.
Annunziata Stante, the matriarch of our family, a mother, mother in law, grandmother (affectionally known as Nonna Tina), great grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, and so much more.
If I were to rewind to my childhood, 20 some odd years, I’d land in a place that starts on a Sunday morning, that would catapult us into the car by 11am, en route to our second home on arteeva drive, just in time for the water to come to a rolling boil in a pot that was about knee high. Through the side entrance of the house, past the wind chimes on the door, my path always led me directly to the basement, to where I’d find her, standing 4 feet and about 9 inches tall, in a floral apron she sewed by hand. Nonna greeted me with a smile, a “hi baby”, and gave me a kiss. She’d then promptly ask me to pick out the pasta of the day – which felt like the most honourable task from the queen of the kitchen. Echoing in the background was a “Hi Ma” from her children, which was not defined by blood or marriage, because she made sure all 10 of them were her children.
After pasta was plucked from the cantina (with her approval of course), the chair next to her prep table allowed me to witness the magic of Nonna, effortlessly creating a meal for a small army, which now I know was more than just food. More than just pasta. And that chair was more than just a chair, it was the window that allowed me to view ultimate motherhood. It was love. It was selflessness. It was who she was. And it was how she crafted the love of our family.
Once the table was set and our first bites were already well underway, Nonna would make her way up the two sets of stairs, after changing out of her cooking top into something nicer, likely holding another bottle of wine or a side dishes of sorts, to finally take the last seat. It didn’t make sense to me then, but I now know why she intentionally wandered into her kitchen last. Allowing herself to walk into a buzzing room filled with her children and their children, truly embracing the fruits of her labour, knowing that those bowls of pasta, at that table, were filled with her love and devotion to our family. Which was her everything. Her family was everything.
These Sunday traditions weren’t glamourized. They weren’t meant to be out of the ordinary. They were our lives, these Sunday traditions at Nonna and nonnos were engrained in the fabric of who we were – and who we were meant to be. Back then, 20 some odd years ago, it just was our family life. But, now, if I could live through another Sunday lunch, with Nonna at the head of the table, using her own special plate (which was always replaced by the one we originally laid out for her), next to Nonno, in a room filled with love, it would be the most extra ordinary day of my life.
My mom told me that the first word Nonna learned when she came to Canada was lucky. A woman stopped her and Nonno Ernesto while she was walking with her stroller, carrying her small daughters, Lorie and Julie. The woman asked if her two small children were girls, and without knowing the language, she was able to understand the question and answer yes, girls. The woman promptly responded, wow, you’re so lucky. And as life continued, with two small children growing into 5 children, and then 10 grandchildren, Nonna was always told how lucky she was. Fortunade
…But we are the lucky ones. To have been graced with her goodness. Her kindness. Her forgiving and gracious soul. Her zest for life. Her love for the sunshine and the outdoors, the beach, and the warm air. Her beauty and her intelligence. Her Witt and most of all, her extraordinary love.
Nonna Tina, thank you for paving the way for our family and giving us roots that will always be grounded by you, and Nonno Ernesto. We will miss you forever. Please give a baci baci baci to my two favourite men up there with you. I know they’re both so happy to have you home with them. Ti amo, Nonna.

Our sincerest sympathy to you, your family, sisters and brother on the passing of your mother. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Wishing you happy memories.
