elevated iSzu9 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Antoine (Tony) Saab, who left us peacefully, surrounded by his loving family.
elevated iSzu9 He will be forever and so deeply missed by his loving and dedicated wife, Carmen; his children, Eddie (and Keri) and Carole (and Jeremy); and the loudest section of his vast fan club, his five beloved grandchildren: Elise (16), Grace (14), Harrison (13), Owen (10), and Henry (8).
elevated iSzu9 It is hard to adequately capture a life, heart, or personality as large as Tony’s. He is often remembered as a man who lit up and charmed every room he walked into, for his extraordinary talent for being both the most gifted storyteller and the best listener, and for his notorious dry wit and sense of humour. But it was in his quiet yet abundant generosity, humility, and strong values that you truly understood him.
elevated iSzu9 Tony had a true love for people and an unmatched gift for understanding them. He could read situations, faces, and between the lines with ease, and he used this rare skill to quietly uplift those in need, help others navigate differences, and make everyone he encountered feel like the most important person in the room.
elevated iSzu9 This gift also fueled a remarkable career, which brought him around the globe, where time and again Tony delivered masterclasses in negotiation—formal and informal, across cultures, and often in wildly improbable circumstances. His exceptional success was guided by the convictions he held and shared often with his children: Always be curious. Always be trustworthy. And above all, what matters most is how you treat people.
elevated iSzu9 Tony’s presence was larger than life, yet it is in the countless quiet ways he touched others that his legacy will live on. His generosity, humour, and wisdom will echo in the stories and jokes we tell, and in the values we carry forward. Though we will miss him profoundly, his spirit will continue to flourish within us all.

We will miss you for sure. All your kindness & guides to me some conversations while I visiting service daily are unforgettable. You have a very devoted spouse all the time beside you also your beloved children with grandchildren will be miss you too.

Tony was a great friend for over forty years. We shared many vibrant discussions concerning business, politics and philosophy. He was a kind and generous person; worldly-wise if and as it might be required. He was a valued friend.
To Tony’s family and all friends, I sadly accept the notice of Tony’s passing. He was one of my best of all employees while we were stationed in Singapore for almost 10 years. My wife Dean and I loved Carmen and Tony. We regret that we grew apart because of the miles between where we lived in the States and Tony’s family in Canada. All the best my friend and pray for me and my family until we meet again.
I left this out of my message. Bill Burke, our boss, who passes years ago, would be devastated by your passing. As many of you know, Bill and I travelled the Far East almost every week for 10 years, and we would not go to a new city without sending Tony to scout for us. And he would meet us when we flew in and brief us on what to expect when we were on our way to the hotel. And Tony would get us a car and driver so we didn’t have to travel in a taxi. One time we went to Delhi, India and when we got in the car going to the hotel, the driver was driving at about 2 miles an hour, Bill Burke quizzed Tony and he talked to the driver on one of the languages that Tony mastered, and he told Bill that the driver said he had no brakes on the car, and a red light came up right away and the driver used the stopped car in front of us to stop his car. At the next red light the driver and Tony opened their doors and dragged their feet on the street to stop the cab. Burke got out and starred at Tony. We almost cried laughing when we got safely to the hotel. I hope Tony and Bill are laughing together now. Bill also loved Tony.
Dearest Tony,
I can’t put into words the pain I felt when you left this world. It feels like I’ve lost another father for the second time. I’m so lucky to have met you in this lifetime and to have heard your stories—about business, politics, or anything random. I will miss your sense of humor and your funny sarcasm. I will forever be grateful to have been welcomed into your family. Don’t worry about Coco—I’ll take care of her.
P.S. I still think I can be a singer, even if you said my voice was only good enough.
Rest in peace, Tony. I will miss singing to you every morning. Till we meet again.
Tony and I first met in 1974, in Bahrain, working for Peter and Stan. He schooled me in “tallying Pipe”.
Like mark, Peter, bill b and so many others said from the PRICE company, he was a loyal employee and a good friend. He will be remembered for those great times and his diligence and hard work.
