elevated q3Oh9 It is with a heavy heart that we announce our beloved Anton Travalja left us on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at the age of 77. He is survived by his wife Tonka and best friend of 51 years. Anton was a devoted father to David (Sandra), Denny (Audrey). Anton’s legacy will live on with his grandchildren whom he cherished and were the joy of his life; Nicholas, Daniel, Xavier and Mia.
elevated q3Oh9 Visitation will be held at Assumption Funeral Home Chapel (6933 Tomken Rd, Mississauga) on Wednesday, October 6th from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 6:00 – 8:00 pm. A private Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, October 7th, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. following a burial at Assumption Cemetery. For those who would like to attend the burial service you are more than welcome to join the Travalja family at Assumption Cemetery in Section 9 at 10:30 a.m.

It was with great sadness when we heard news of the passing of Tony , a husband , father and nono. Our condolences and prayers are with you all at this time of sorrow. Tony and I came to Canada on the same boat in 1966, where we met, after leaving our homeland Istria . We have been friends for many years and my wife Nada and I will miss seeing him at Istria Gardens but will always think of him. Stay strong and God bless.
