It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss that we announce the peaceful passing of Antonio Fanone on March 24, 2024 at the age of 84. Born December 29, 1939 in the town of Settefrati, Italy, Antonio passed away with his loving family by his side. Beloved husband of 65 years to Elvira. Loving father to Mario (Juliet), Fausto (Kathleen) and Duilio (Josie). He adored his grandchildren, Antonio (Renee), Marissa (Giacomo), Alexander and Sam (Jesse).
He was a proud man with immense passion and generosity for his family, friends and community. His deep faith and overflowing love for God spilled into his everyday life. His fearless and charismatic personality was engaging, magnetic and inspiring. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him and loved him.

Our hearts are heavy as we offer our deepest sympathy to Tony’s family. We were truly blessed to have Tony and Elvira as the best neighbours and will miss our pleasant chats over the fence. Alex and I will always remember his smiling face and kind words.

Although we only met Tony at St. Padre Pio festivities and at Mass in St. Wilfrid’s we had the sense of his joy and values. Our condolences to all his family members.
