It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Antonio Silva. Peacefully, on Tuesday May 23, 2023 at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of Juliana. Loving father of Isabel. Antonio will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all his extended family and friends. May he rest in peace.
Eterna Saudade.
Tia e prima,
Um grande abracinho de conforto nos vossos corações. 🖤
Dear Isabel and Janita, it is with great sadness to receive this news. My memories of Sr. Antonio will be of how he was always happy. Never saw him upset, always positive. Also, I will always have the memories of my parents, your parents and, all their friends getting together and their laughter filling the room. Good times that we will never forget. Please accept my deepest condolences.
So sorry to hear the passing of your beloved Dad. May he rest in peace.
To Tony:
Have a well deserved rest, you always did what you thought was the best
An old saying: Do not waste time ,because this is the stuff life is made of and it goes too fast.
What great sadness I felt upon hearing of Sr. Ferro’s passing, (as we used to call him). My sisters and I have such wonderful memories when we were young and he lived with us, after arriving from Portugal. How kind he was with all of us and always telling us about his little girl in Portugal and how much he missed her. We’ve never forgotten that time in your lives and these memories will stay with us to the end. I feel heart broken.
Dear Juanita and Isabel;
My heart just sank when Ledesmia gave me the news of Sr. Ferro’s passing. I remember so well running into his arms and him calling me his little Anazinha.
So many years have passed but those wonderful memories and his smile are as vivid today as they were 60 years ago. I am truly sorry for your loss.
I unfortunately live too far away to attend the service but my thoughts and prayers go with you both.
Querida Juliana, Isabel e restante familia
