elevated Gmwla Obituary
elevated Gmwla It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Antonio Mariglia on August 8, 2026, in Toronto, Ontario, at the age of 76.
elevated Gmwla Antonio was born on April 26, 1950, in Limosano, Campobasso, Italy, to the late Giovanni Mariglia and Concetta Mariglia. Raised in the beautiful Molise region of Italy, Antonio developed a deep appreciation for family, faith, perseverance, and the traditions of his hometown. These values would guide him throughout his life.
elevated Gmwla At the age of 18, Antonio immigrated to North America with his parents in search of opportunity. He later returned to Italy, where he married the love of his life, Eliana Mariglia, before returning to Canada to begin their life together. Through determination and sacrifice, they built a loving family and a life centred on devotion to one another.
elevated Gmwla Antonio became a licensed plumber and spent his career as a respected skilled tradesman. Known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and craftsmanship, he worked tirelessly to provide for his family until his retirement.
elevated Gmwla Above all else, Antonio’s greatest accomplishment was his family. He dedicated his life to supporting those he loved and never hesitated to help family and friends whenever they needed him. His generosity, loyalty, and unwavering sense of responsibility were qualities that defined him and earned the respect and admiration of all who knew him.
elevated Gmwla Outside of work, Antonio found great satisfaction in living the values with which he was raised. He believed deeply in the dignity of honest effort, self-reliance, and providing for one’s family. Whether working the land, tending to projects around the home, or sharing the results of his labour with those he loved, Antonio found pride and purpose in caring for others and providing for his family.
elevated Gmwla Antonio was deeply grateful for the opportunities that Canada provided to him and his family. He took great pride in building a life through dedication and sacrifice and was thankful for the future that Canada made possible for the generations that followed. At the same time, he never lost his deep connection to Limosano, the village where he was born and raised. He returned often throughout his life, maintaining close relationships with family and lifelong friends. Those visits brought him immense happiness, allowing him to stay connected to the people, traditions, and culture that remained so important to him.
elevated Gmwla Antonio leaves behind his beloved wife, Eliana Mariglia; his sons, Gianni Mariglia, Carlo Mariglia (Alida Cosentino), and Gino Mike Mariglia; and his cherished grandchildren, Luca Francis Mariglia and Adele Mariglia. He was predeceased by his parents, Giovanni and Concetta Mariglia.
elevated Gmwla Antonio’s life was defined not by what he accumulated, but by what he gave to others. Through his example, he taught the values of perseverance, humility, generosity, a strong work ethic, and devotion to family. Those lessons will continue to live on in the lives of his children, grandchildren, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
elevated Gmwla Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Funeral Home.
