It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Antonio “Tony” Da Silva on July 29th, 2025. Tony was a devoted father, loving son, brother and uncle. Tony was the son of Gloria and Casimiro Da Silva, born on December 3, 1970, in Toronto. Tony was an admirable, humorous, and honest man. His love for his Corvette was well-known, as was his enjoyment of his beautiful backyard, accompanied by great friends and family.
elevated FOZxd He is survived by his three children, Alyssa (Vincent), Ashley (Liam), and Julian (Nyah); two brothers, Paulo (Nadia) and Agostinho (Ann Maria); nephews Matteo and Luca; and his loving girlfriend, Carla.
elevated FOZxd Tony’s sudden departure leaves a void that can never be filled. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing him, as his presence lit up every room he entered. Though his time with us was tragically short, the love he shared and the memories he created will live on in our hearts forever.
elevated FOZxd If desired, donations in honour of Tony can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

Tony, the brother in law I always wanted and needed, thank you. Even though it was for a short time but definitely the best time, until we meet again Tony. Love you my brother, rest easy 🍻
Tony was the life of the party and always made me laugh and always had a smile on his face.. he loved his children and would do anything for them. The earth lost a great soul and he is making people laugh where ever he is. My deepest condolences to you all. Xx
Our deepest condolences to the Da Silva Family, may God bless you all and grant you strength and courage during this difficult time.
We knew Tony for almost 20 years, this news is terrible. Heaven gained the most incredible angel.
Our hearts go out to you; Alyssa, Ashley and Julian.

I still can’t believe you’re gone. We met almost 30 years ago, we hit it off and never looked back. I’m gonna miss our chats and you making fun of me. I know how much you loved your kids and how you would do anything for them. I hope they find the strength during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers go to Alyssa, Ashley, Julian & the entire family. You will be missed, my friend. Rest easy.
I worked with Tony at star concrete pumping, he was always a friendly hard working guy !
Gone way too soon my friend, my deepest condolences to everyone affected !
Dear Alyssa, Ashley, and Julian,
We were heartbroken to hear about the passing of your dad. Please accept our deepest and most heartfelt condolences. I know how much he loved you, and I pray that you feel surrounded by that love even now.
During this incredibly difficult time, we hope you find comfort in knowing that he is at peace and resting in God’s eternal care. His spirit lives on—not only in the presence of our Heavenly Father, but also in each of you, in your strength, your kindness, and the way you love others.
May God give you peace that surpasses all understanding, and may you feel His arms around you as you walk through this season of grief. You’re in our thoughts and constant prayers.
With love and sympathy,
Your cousins Gus, Gorete, Jonathan and Victoria Da Silva.
