Antonio “Tony” Gigante passed peacefully on November 7, 2025, at the age of 73. Born in Dipignano, Cosenza, Italy, Tony was the beloved husband of Mary for 48 years, devoted father to Roseanne and Lisa, cherished father‑in‑law to Franco and Jason, and proud Nonno to his grandchildren Michaelanthony, Xavier, Gabriel, and Bella. Remembered for his strength, humility, humour, and love of family, Tony’s legacy lives on in the countless memories he created. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.

To an amazing person who will be remembered for his humour and fondness for family! Tony was like a brother to my mom (Rosina Accardi) although they were first cousins! He was a special person in our lives! Although life didn’t make it easy to see each other often he will be forever in our hearts! Rest in peace Tony! I will always remember being a bridesmade at your wedding! I was very honoured and I always loved the great relationship you and Mary had!

Our deepest condolences on the loss of cousin Tony. We have lost a wonderful human being. We were so grateful to have seen him recently, and to speak about his life and all his offerings. He was a remarkable person who brought laughter and peace amongst everyone he met. His infectious dry humor, and extended annunciation during discussions, brought about laughter and solace. We will miss his presence and his voice.
