elevated ILCcR It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss that we announce the passing of Arthur Saccoccia on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. Surrounded by family, he took his last breath and joined his parents (Ugo and Bice) and his brother, Steve (Amrigo) in Heaven.
elevated ILCcR Born March 31, 1952 in Toronto, Ontario, Arthur worked hard all his life and earned everything he had. His bark was bigger than his bite, he valued relationships and would go out of his way to help others. He loved Ferraris, F1 racing and playing cards.
elevated ILCcR Beloved husband of Lena for 51 years, who was by his side every second of every day. Providing father and father-in-law to Andrea, Stephanie (Gianni), Christopher and proud grandfather to Adom and Gabriel, who were the light of his life.
elevated ILCcR Arthur will fondly be remembered by all that knew him and will never be forgotten.
elevated ILCcR Guests will be received at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home (211 Langstaff Rd. E., Thornhill, Ontario) on Sunday, December 8, 2024, from 2:00 – 8:00pm. Funeral Mass at the Chapel of St. Joseph: Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home will take place on Monday, December 9, 2024, at 10:30 am. Cremation to follow.
elevated ILCcR In lieu of flowers, for those wishing, memorial donations in honour of Arthur Saccoccia can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
I am so profoundly saddened to hear of my old friend’s untimely passing yesterday. My sincerest condolences to Lena & all family members. Frequently God’s plans don’t seem to have either rhyme nor reason!

Absolutely gutted to hear this horrible news. Art was larger than life and his kindness will never be forgotten. He was a client for over 15 years but felt much more like a family friend. His sense of humor was one of a kind. Wishing Lena, Andrea, Stephanie (and her boys) and Chris deep prayers for grace and healing during this time and the wonderful ladies at the office that loyal served him for years prayers as well.
