God called Arthur Harold “Harry” D’Souza peacefully on January 9, 2024 aged 95. Forever missed by his loving wife of 63 years Heather. Cherished by his dear children Lorraine (Late-Scott), Melvyn (Astrid) and Audrey (Rob). Beloved grandfather to Kyle, Justin, Alyssa, Miranda, Joanna and Philip. Adored great grandfather to Elijah. Affectionately remembered by his siblings Rosie, Stany and Richie. Now reunited in Heaven with his siblings Louie, Elsie, Jerry, Jeffy, Matty, and Lawrie. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and friends.
elevated VUgy9 Visitation will be held at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home (211 Langstaff Road East Thornhill, Ontario) on Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 8:15 A.M. to 10:15 A.M.
elevated VUgy9 The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 20, 2024 in the Chapel of Saint Joseph which is located within the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home at 10:30 A.M. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (8361 Yonge Street Thornhill, Ontario).

Please accept our deep condolences on the passing of Uncle Harry. He was a jewel of a person and a kind and gentle soul. He had a quiet sense of humour and always had this twinkle in his eye.
I have fond memories of Uncle Harry, having grown up in Karachi, and spending the days in your house in Miranda Compound. He was always kind and welcoming.
And while he has passed, it is obvious that he still lives on in the hearts of the gentle and caring family he has left behind.

He was a quiet dignified loving compassionate caring and jovial man. He has help me and (Jerome) and our family many times both in Canada and NJ. Our kids enjoyed his company. Aunty Heather you have been a staunch support to Uncle and to all of us.
My most delight recent memory was when we met uncle and he wanted to eat the bindi Karoo I ly. Aunty told him – have it after dinner and he smiled. He delightfully had a little wine together (to Aunty’s surprise) and he enjoyed. Then I quietly slipped the bindi Karoo I to his plate and he enjoyed it with a smile
