It is with sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Assunta Vella, in Newmarket, at the age of 95, surrounded by the love of her family.

elevated OdrM6 Assunta was the beloved wife of the late Giuseppe Vella, with whom she shared a life filled with love, devotion, family, and cherished memories. She was a devoted mother to Vince (Vicky), proud and loving Nonna to Justine (Michael) and Matthew (Vanessa); cherished Bisnonna to Carina and Arianna.

elevated OdrM6 Assunta will be fondly remembered for her strong work ethic, kind heart, and appreciation for the simple pleasures in life. She found her greatest happiness in the company of her husband, family, and friends, creating many wonderful memories that will remain close to their hearts. Her presence, love, and quiet strength will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

elevated OdrM6 Assunta is survived by her sister Salvina (the late Giuseppe) and is predeceased by her other siblings: the late Grace (the late Angelo), the late Pietro (the late Gina), the late Salvatore (the late Rosa), and the late Benito (Gina).

elevated OdrM6 She leaves behind a lifetime of love and memories that will forever be treasured by her family and friends.
