elevated FQ9FO With profound sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Attilio Campagna, at the age of 91. Born on April 3, 1933, in Broccostella, Frosinone, Italy, Attilio embarked on a life rich with love, purpose, and devotion. He passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2024, held tenderly in the arms of his beloved wife, Loreta, leaving behind a legacy built on faith, family, and an unwavering commitment to his values.
elevated FQ9FO In 1954, Attilio made the courageous journey to Canada with just $19 in his pocket and a watch from his parents on his wrist—a humble start to the life he would build with his own hands. A man of extraordinary work ethic, he lived by the principles of perseverance, generosity, and integrity. Despite his new life in Canada, his heart always remained tied to his Italian roots. Attilio often shared stories of his homeland, ensuring that the rich traditions of Italy remained alive within his family.
elevated FQ9FO Attilio is survived by his devoted wife Loreta and their children: Grace (Nino), Bruno (Paula), and Teresa (Theo), whose lives were profoundly shaped by his love and wisdom. As a proud nonno, he adored his grandchildren: Andre (Susie), Christina (Anthony), Mercedes (Jordan), Nicholas (Dave), and Aiden, each of whom carries forward his compassion, strength, and the values he instilled in them. His role as bisnonno to Katherine and Lucas filled his later years with joy and pride, and they will grow up hearing stories of their great-grandfather’s enduring wisdom, love, and humor.
elevated FQ9FO He is also survived by his younger siblings Pietro and Antoinetta. Attilio is now reunited in heaven with his parents, Giuseppe and Orazia, and his siblings Ernesto, Santina, Maria, Pasqua (Michela), Domenico, and Pasquale.
elevated FQ9FO Attilio was not only the heart of his family but also a beloved friend to many in his community. Known for his quiet strength, kind heart, and unwavering loyalty, he touched the lives of all who knew him. His deep faith, strong family values, and love for his community were the cornerstones of his life, and these qualities continue to inspire those he leaves behind.
elevated FQ9FO In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Attilio’s memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Parkinson Canada, causes that were close to his heart.

Nato il 3 aprile 1933 , a Broccostella, Frosinone, Italia, Attilio ha intrapreso una vita ricca di amore, scopo e devozione. È morto giovedì 26 settembre 2024, tenuto teneramente tra le braccia della sua amata moglie Loreta, lasciando dietro di sé un’eredità costruita sulla fede, sulla famiglia e su un incrollabile impegno verso i suoi valori.
elevated FQ9FO Nel 1954, Attilio fece il coraggioso viaggio in Canada con soli 19 dollari in tasca e un orologio dei suoi genitori al polso: un umile inizio della vita che avrebbe costruito con le proprie mani. Un uomo dalla straordinaria etica del lavoro, viveva secondo i principi di perseveranza, generosità e integrità. Nonostante la sua nuova vita in Canada, il suo cuore è rimasto sempre legato alle sue radici italiane. Attilio condivideva spesso storie della sua terra natale, assicurandosi che le ricche tradizioni dell’Italia rimanessero vive nella sua famiglia.

elevated FQ9FO La famiglia accoglierà gli amici presso l’impresa funebre cattolica di Holy Cross, 211 Langstaff Road Est, Thornhill, Ontario. Seguirà la cerimonia funebre, al termine della quale Attilio sarà sepolto presso il Cimitero Cattolico della Santa Croce – Mausoleo della Sacra Famiglia. Al posto dei fiori, la famiglia richiede gentilmente donazioni in memoria di Attilio alla Heart & Stroke Foundation o Parkinson Canada, cause che gli stavano a cuore.

I will always remember growing up as a little girl and this young man was in our house always hanging with my older brothers ( the Rotondi family) . He treated me like his little sister too .
