elevated Tig0x Obituary
It is with profound sadness and heartache that we announce the passing of our beloved Father Augusto Gismondi who died surrounded by his family on Thursday November 18th, 2021. Married to Assunta Gismondi (deceased) for nearly 70 years, together they built a beautiful family and successful business that is carried on through their daughters Anna Pileggi (Stefan, Deceased) (Mark), Lia Mariani (Dominic) and their children.
An innovative and successful businessman Augusto started Gismondi Construction in June 1967. Augusto was passionate and determined in all aspects of his business that his legacy lives on today with August Group. Augusto’s many passions extended beyond the construction site and included dancing and travelling. Augusto & Assunta were known to dance the night away and attend many classes to perfect their moves. Both travelled for many years to Acapulco, Mexico with friends and family – Augusto would often recall memories of those trips as some of his most cherished times.
elevated Tig0x Augusto was a gentleman in every sense of the word. From his style to his presence to his values – everything he believed in, he lived. No one loved life more, in good and hard times he was the anchor of our family, always around to lend a listening ear and sound advice. His laugh and sense of humor was well timed when we all needed it the most.
elevated Tig0x Augusto joins in heaven his parents Pietro and Restituta and siblings Domenic (deceased) spouse Maria (deceased), Vincenza (deceased) spouse Pietro (deceased), Ida (deceased) Spouse Fiorino (deceased), Gino (deceased) spouse Elisabetta (deceased), Giulio (deceased) spouse Antonietta and will be missed by his many nieces and nephews.
elevated Tig0x Augusto’s greatest joy were his grandchildren. Martina, David, Julia & Michael. He referred to them as his kids and from the very beginning took an active role in their lives. Augusto’s grandchildren increased by two, with the beautiful addition of Robert & Christina Mariani to our family. He was Biz-Nonno (Great-Grandfather) to Noah, Angelina, Celine, Erin, Ethan, Sofia, Olivia, Amaya, Sebastian, Leo, Aria & Elizabeth. It warms our hearts that our children and great-grandchildren have such beautiful memories of Augusto that they can carry on in their hearts.
elevated Tig0x Although Augusto had many health struggles in the last years of his life, it never took away his spirit, sense of humor and love for his wife and family. He will be greatly missed.

Dear Anna, Lia and the Gismondi family, I am so sad for loss. Sending each and everyone of you my heartfelt condolences.
Having become family shortly after arriving from Italy in the early sixties, I have a lifetime of beautiful memories of your dad and mom. We have spent time growing up together and watching our children play together. With so much gratitude, I express my appreciation for all their love, kindness and generosity.
For the countless family gatherings, their presence was felt by the heart, and filled with so much fun. Two beautiful people inside and out. Their beauty, legacies, and most of all their love will forever remain engraved in our hearts.
I know it’s only been a few months since the loss of your dear mom, and now you dad, my heart, thoughts and prayers are with you all.
