elevated 5mJT5 Barbara Jakobina Vidić, née Čuden, passed away on Aug 24, 2018 in her home, surrounded by her loved ones at the tender age of 33 after a hard-fought battle with cancer.
elevated 5mJT5 Barbara was born in Ottawa on December 30, 1984. She spent her childhood living in Vienna, Austria, where she attended the Viennese music school to study the accordion and the piano. She also sang in the local church choir. She later moved to Ottawa with her family where she graduated from St. Pius X High School and later the Ottawa University Business School. Another move brought Barbara to Toronto where she met her future husband Vitold and continued singing in choirs while also taking private voice lessons and playing in small bands. She traveled the world with her husband and enjoyed life to the fullest.
elevated 5mJT5 Barbara will be remembered as a kind and warm person who always had a smile to offer. She was an avid cook and baker, a big fan of music, loved to ride her bike, play tennis, watch soccer and spend time with her friends and family. Her positive attitude and her compassionate nature shaped her into a beautiful person who will be greatly missed by all.
elevated 5mJT5 She is survived by her husband Vitold, her parents Demetra and Andrej, her brother Amadej, her sister Valentina, along with her niece, two nephews, and all her extended family on the North American, European and Australian continents, as well as many friends.

We are so saddened by the loss of Barbara. She always had a smile on her face and was so talented in the kitchen. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time. xox
Albeit we only me a few times, the purity of your heart and the strength of the love shared between you and your husband inspired me. May you be surrounded by rejoicing angels in heaven dear lady and may God provide peace and healing to those you’ve left behind.
