It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Teresa Darrah (nee O’Rourke) on March 25th, 2021 and the passing of our father, Basil Darrah, on December 28th, 2022.

I extend my condolences to the whole Darrah family. I remember being invited by Cathy to their home for dinner, a swim in the pool or to watch TV and talk about recent news events. I have fond memories of cheerful meals and scrumptious desserts! I wish Teresa and Basil a peaceful rest together in heaven .
I really would have liked to be with you to honour the memories of your parents. But my circonstances make it impossible to attend. My thoughts are with you. I wish you all the confort and goodwill you deserve during this difficult time.
To all the Darrah Family, extended family, children & Grandchildren. The times I met your parents, they were always very gracious. While I never tasted Teresa’s apple pie, I got a taste of her worldly wisdom on many occasions. From child discipline to marriage. In a world where it is difficulty to express yourself honestly, she was a standout!! Happy they are both together again for eternity. Blessings from the entire Simpson Family.
