I offer my prayers and condolences to the Pinto family. I remember Bernard very well when I was Associate Pastor at St. Timothy’s Parish in North York. He was also a devoted member of the choir.
If I can, I hope to attend his funeral Mass.

For sure I remember Bernard from St. Tim’s choir. I’m not sure if I can make the service or not.

We had heard of Bernard from Sr.Dolores Ann. Had the pleasure of meeting him when we came to Canada, since then we always kept in touch. Buddy was such a sweet,smiling and friendly person. He shared a couple of recipes with me.Cheese Biscuits are among the favorite and came to be known as Buddy’s Biscuits.

So sorry to hear of Bernard’s passing. Many moons ago, when we were in our teens, Bernie and I used to play piano duets together. His sister Madge (RIP)was our piano teacher! I send my deepest condolences to the Pintos. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

Bernard was a significant part of my life and the life of my family. He was a dear friend to my mother Nancy through their volunteer work at St. Tim’s parish. We spent so many Sundays with him and his mother driving them back and forth to church.
I also spent time with Bernard when I was part of the choir.
Bernard’s passion for the arts and culture remained a wonderful connection point for us when he made his annual Christmas or New Year’s call to me.
I am forever better for having him as part of my life.
My brother Adrian and I send our condolences to you his family.

Wishing I was able to pay my last respects to a great person who always had time for others. My condolences to all Buddy’s family. Fond memories of our pilgrimage to Greece with Carmy, Clare and John come to mind. Your friendship will always be treasured.

We met Bernard through the Parish Refugee committee many years ago and found we lived close to each other. We enjoyed his company during many car pooling trips to events and to the church. We greatly admired his volunteerism, quick wit and genuine friendliness.
