elevated JGSHQ It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Beth (Elizabeth) Jenny Mealia (Jacovou). 

elevated JGSHQ A beloved Daughter of Larry and Angela (deceased), Incredible Mother of Angela (Nicholas) and Christopher (Loredana), Grandmother (Gigi) of Milena, Christina and Elizabeth. 

elevated JGSHQ She is also survived by her siblings, Debbie (Jim), Mike (Susan), John (Joanne) and Mary.  As well as loving Aunt to Maria, Jeremy, Julia, Kate, Tiffany, Zachary, Alex, Jessie, Francisco and Lorenzo.

elevated JGSHQ She had many dear friends and was a cherished member of her community. Beth loved fully and fiercely, especially where her family was concerned. Nothing brought her more joy than her precious granddaughters. 

elevated JGSHQ Beth had a successful 30 plus year career as a realtor, bringing warmth and a natural gift of connecting with people.  Upon finding out her diagnosis, Beth decided that instead of suffering silently, she wanted to make a difference.  She established “Life Rewritten” to raise money and awareness for women afflicted with Cancer.  

elevated JGSHQ Beth will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the love she shared so generously with those around her.  She lit up every room she entered, making people feel welcome and valued. 

elevated JGSHQ Beth made everyone feel like she was your best friend and many were proud to call her exactly that. You could hear her infectious laugh from miles away.  Her philosophy of ‘how hard can it be ?’, was from her mom and she wore it proudly. Beth will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

elevated JGSHQ May she rest in eternal peace and may her memory be a blessing to every life she touched.

elevated JGSHQ The family would like to thank the staff for the compassionate care she received at Margaret Bahen Hospice during her final days.

elevated JGSHQ In memory of Beth, donations can be made out to Margaret Bahen Hospice and flowers are also warmly welcomed and may be sent to the funeral home.

elevated JGSHQ A Celebration of Life honoring Beth will be held at Madison Greenhouse Event Venue (160 Bayview Pkwy Newmarket) on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Family and friends are warmly invited to join us as we come together to celebrate her beautiful life, share cherished memories, and remember the love and joy she brought to those around her.
