Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Monday, July 4, 2022. Bill, devoted husband to Maria for over 27 years; Beloved father of Brian (Nicole), Tommy (Natasha), Lily (Tony), Daniela (Tony), and Robert (Cathy). Cherished grandfather of Liam, Rocky (Jena), Emily, Robert, Marcus, and Matteo. Dear brother of Alan and Judy.
elevated n0Cyl Friends may visit on Thursday, July 7, 2022 from 2:30-4:30 & 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Road East (Bayview and Langstaff). A funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of St. Joseph in the funeral home. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to Hill House Hospice are appreciated by the family.

Our Dear Uncle Bill will be missed beyond what words could express. He has graced our family with his consistently warm, loving, gentle presence and we are so grateful for all he has been to us and to his family. Our hearts are broken by this sudden loss of Uncle Bill. We extend our most heartfelt condolences to our Zia Maria and to our cousins, Lily, Daniela, Robert and their families and to Brian and Tommy and their families.

My dear friend, Maria, and family,
The world will be a lot more sad and a lot more empty without our dear, Bill…he was so special!
I can still remember clearly, the first time he asked me to dance a bachata at Maria’s insistence, many years ago, when we first met, on the dance floor.
You both came into my life at a time when I needed lots of love, acceptance and support and that is exactly what you delivered.
I felt blessed and protected, with you as my friends…thank you for all the love and all the memories, over the years.
I affectionately called Bill “the bachata king” and he called me “the bachata queen” because of our love of the dance and because he would never miss a chance to lead us into a bachata line dance. Whether we were at a dance venue or in the middle of The Caribbean, on a luxury cruise ship, on one of our “dance” cruises, Bill was always the first one on the dance floor, leading us. Knowing him, it wont take him long, in his new destination, to meet a group of dancers that he can lead into eternity.
You will be forever missed, dear friend, by all those who knew you and all those who loved you.

We are truly saddened by the passing of Bill.
Bill was truly one of a kind, a class act and a true gentleman. We still remember the first time we met at the airport followed by all the wonderful memories of such good times together. Bill touched everyone’s lives in a special way with his humor, generosity his warmth and with that twinkle in his eyes. He was truly “magical”.
His passing leaves a huge void in all our lives as friends but mostly for you all as his family was everything to him. May the wonderful memories sustain you all through this difficult time.

So sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad Brian. Cecil always appreciated his help in putting up a satellite on our roofs condolences to your whole family.
Bill touched many lives and had so many friends inside and outside Xerox. In fact, I actually met Bill over 45 years ago, before I joined the company. We met at the Airport Racquetball Club through a friend of mine who worked with Bill at manufacturing. Bill was always so much fun and we had a lot of laughs during our developing friendship. He was an amazing racquetball player and a really great sport. One memory that sticks in my mind is when he organized a mixed racquetball tournament. He had arranged the event and purchased trophies for the winners and runners-up. What he didn’t anticipate was that a female would actually win one of the trophies, as all the trophies he purchased had a male figure on top. He never lived it down when he had to present me with the winning trophy for the Consolation round. We kidded him about that for years… in fact, the next time he organized the event, he bought a little doll’s skirt to put on the trophy, in case this weird anomaly happened again! When I joined Xerox, we reconnected and then towards the end of my career there, I worked closely with him when I transferred to H.O. I greatly admired Bill’s ability to handle challenging situations with ease and to always remain positive. He was very wise and was always willing to provide counsel and advice “with a smile.” The Xerox family, and the world at large, has lost a very special person and a wonderful friend. I send my heartfelt condolences to Bill’s family and pray that they will find comfort in the love and support of family and friends during this difficult time.
Bill “magically” touched the lives of everyone who was privileged to know him. A man of many talents, great integrity and a class act…never to be forgotten and always treasured! May Maria and his family find comfort in the magical love and memories they shared with him.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. He was such a lovely man.

Dave and I are sad to learn of Bill’s passing. Dave spent a lot of time with his cousin Bill, as youngsters and teens…lots of happy days! Our condolences to Maria and all the family.

Dear Maria,
Barry and I are so sad to hear of the loss of Bill. He was a lovely man and we both enjoyed his company very much when we visited you at your home where you made us so very welcome. I will always remember Bill as a very kind man who took the time and trouble to dance with me although I was definitely not a dancer and probably trod on his toes a couple of times. Carole sent us this link so we were able to be with you all at the funeral. Your son did a superb eulogy and I am sure you are so proud of him. Please accept our sincere condolences, our thoughts are with you and all your family at this very sad time.
