elevated KO0c9 Pahlawan, Blanche (nee Koueiter) – on November 14, 2022, at Saint Michael’s Hospital in Toronto. Blanche passed away peacefully in her 88th year with her beloved daughter, Katia, by her side.
elevated KO0c9 Cherished wife of the late Felix Pahlawan and treasured Teta (grandmother) to Patrick & Mark. She will be greatly missed by family, friends, and all those who knew her.
elevated KO0c9 Blanche was a kind, warm, generous woman who loved fiercely. She’s no longer with us here, but her beautiful spirit will live with us forever.
elevated KO0c9 In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in her memory to the CAH (Centres d’Accueil Héritage), where Blanche lived for the past 8 years and was surrounded by many friends, a loving community, and a wonderful support team.

I am sharing your sorrow, I will miss my conversations over the phone with Blanche and the family memories we shared with her. May she rest in eternal peace.
So many memories especially from childhood days. The French lessons at your house, the chocolate biscuit cake, the Scrabble games at home with Mama and Papa asking if there is a word “dox” – always looking for those triples, and many many other memories.
She loved us all.
And how she loved and was so proud of you and the kids.
I will miss her.
