elevated tiUcR Obituary
Bogdan Drabik passed away on April 7, 2026, at Milton Hospital at the age of 74. He was born on September 20, 1951, in Stramnica, Poland, the son of the late Teodozja Stefenowsky. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Alicja Drabik (née Balcerzak).

elevated tiUcR He is lovingly remembered by his children, Karolina (Milad) and Monika (Davin). He will also be deeply missed by his cherished grandchildren, Maya, Zinadine, and Sutherland.

elevated tiUcR Bogdan loved spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed traveling, swimming, BBQing, being outdoors, and helping others. Though not at first, he came to love his beloved cat, Kitcha. He enjoyed long days lying on the beach, sunbathing, Polish deli meats and sausages (kielbasa), and more recently, blueberry donuts.

elevated tiUcR He was a trained electronics engineer and highly skilled in his trade. For many years, he had his own workshop in the basement of the family home. Friends of his children often said it looked like a scene out of the Cold War, filled with spectrometers and specialized communications equipment.

elevated tiUcR Shortly before his passing, he was asked, “What would you tell someone younger than you?” His answer was simple: “Never stop learning.” Bogdan had an endless thirst for knowledge and a deep desire to understand the world around him. He instilled this passion for learning in his children in all aspects of their lives. To him, there was nothing worse than being ignorant.

elevated tiUcR Many thanks to all the caring staff at Evergreen, Amica, and the various hospitals where Bogdan stayed over the past few years. Your support and compassion in meeting his needs and caring for him in his final days will not be forgotten.
