It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss we announce the peaceful passing of Brian Norman Rumball on October 13, 2024, at home, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 89. He was born on March 13, 1935 in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, England and is now reunited with his parents Norman and Mabel Rumball. Beloved husband of 67 wonderful years to Maureen (nee McVeigh). Loving father of Boyd (Fran), Karen (Cyndra), Kevin (Joy), and Joanne (Mark). Cherished grandfather of Kathleen (Marko), Bryanna (Jason), Sarah (Brian), Heather (Chris), Lauren (Steve), Ronan (Kate), Ethan and Ian (Natalie). Adored great-grandfather of Scottlyn and Camryn. Dear brother to Daniel. Brian will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of his many extended family and friends. He will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten.

Very sad to hear Brian has died . I have many memories of a very nice hospitable gentleman , and loving husband to Maureen , all the times I met him over the years , including my visit to Toronto with Uncle Jimmy , and my more recent stay in Florida in 2007.. R.I.P.. Brian
Brian passed away as he lived, surrounded by his loving family. My condolences to Maureen and family circle.

Very sorry to hear of Brian’s passing. We joined his circle of many friends at La Coquina Condos in Florida more than 10 years ago. Along with many other regulars we got to share his company, his insights and his hospitality every winter since then. We all will miss him.

What a wonderful life and legacy your father, Brian, left. I have so many fond memories of your dad, whether it was his love for Neil Diamond or Monty Python, his wonderful “sharp” humour.

So, in the words of the Monty Python gang, “Always Look at the bright side of life.” I hope Brian is up in Heaven with a beer and a song. For his life was so bright.
