elevated 5GvmB It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Bruno Venditti, who passed away on July 20, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
elevated 5GvmB Born on January 5, 1937, in Cassino, Frosinone, Italy, Bruno lived a life defined by unwavering love, dedication, and strength. He shared a beautiful marriage of 67 years with his beloved wife, Maria, building a family that became the greatest joy and accomplishment of his life.
elevated 5GvmB A devoted and loving father, Bruno will be forever missed by his children, Nancy (Danny) and Anthony (Susy). He was an immensely proud Nonno to Michael (Megan), David (Alexandra), Veronique, and Jacqueline, and a cherished Bisnonno to Antonio, Vittoria, Alessandro, Ava, Ilaria, Daniel, and Octavian. His love, wisdom, and gentle presence will remain in the hearts of each of them for generations to come.
elevated 5GvmB Bruno is also lovingly remembered by his sisters, the late Giuseppina Canale (the late Giuseppe) and the late Antonietta Lanni (the late Antonio), along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who were blessed to know him.
elevated 5GvmB Bruno will be remembered as a kind, hardworking, and humble man whose greatest pride was always his family. He lived with integrity, compassion, and generosity, leading by example and teaching those around him the values of love, respect, and perseverance. Whether sharing stories, offering words of encouragement, or simply enjoying time with those he loved, Bruno had a remarkable way of making everyone feel welcome and cared for.
elevated 5GvmB His legacy is one of unconditional love, devotion to family, and a life well lived. Though he will be deeply missed, the memories he created and the values he instilled will continue to guide and inspire all who knew and loved him.

Moved to Canada after the second war and settled down in North York
Window installer by trade.
Modest middle class life, retired early and spent much of his time reading and enjoying sci fi fiction stories.
A well read, intelligent, kind and soft soul.
A patriarch of the family.

My Uncle Bruno was a kind, gentle man. Only 11 years older than me, he was like an older brother. He always had time for me, or anyone else who needed him. He will be missed so much. Rest in peace, “Zi Bru”.
Those who knew him will remember his patience, humility, generosity, and unwavering goodness. He had a way of making people feel welcome and cared for, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was simply one of those rare people who made the world a better place just by being in it.
His absence leaves an immeasurable void, but the love he shared, the lessons he taught, and the countless lives he touched will live on forever. There truly was no one like him, and he will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered every day.

I was so deeply saddened to learn about Bruno. He fought illness with courage, determination and grace. On his own terms, Bruno did close his last book.
Bruno was a quiet, thoughtful presence – the kind of person who did not need many words to make you feel his kindness. I always admired his love of reading and the calm; steady way he was there for the people he loved. While his battle was long, the love he leaves behind is much longer. R.I.P.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of dear Zio Bruno.I will always remember him for his immense kindness and warmth.
