Carl Julien Lee, age 91, of Mississauga, Ontario, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025.
elevated 0B4o3 He was born on August 13, 1933, in Pointe-A-Pierre, Trinidad and Tobago, a son of the late Isaac and Matilda Lee. Carl is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Eileen Ann Lee (née Superville). He was a loving Dad to Dawn (Al) Manson, Tara (Kevin) Aleong, and cherished Grandpa to Kristen (Arakel) Dakessian, Rebecca Manson, Ethan Aleong (fiancée Abi), and Katherine (Stephen) Atkinson.
elevated 0B4o3 Preceded in death by his brother, Wilbur, and brothers-in-law, John, Al, Ernest, and Errol.
elevated 0B4o3 Among his surviving relatives are sisters Esther and Noreen, as well as in-laws Lauretta, Lorna, Patricia, Roland (Sheila), Rosemarie (Alex), Carol (partner Wes), together with nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
elevated 0B4o3 Carl shared his love of travel with his family, and through his career as an Air Canada Cargo Agent, they enjoyed many vacations together.
elevated 0B4o3 He had a “green thumb,” and could make anything grow, especially the acres and acres of corn and pumpkins that the family would sell at their roadside stand.
elevated 0B4o3 One of his great joys was donating clothes and other items to needy families that he be-friended while vacationing in Cuba.
elevated 0B4o3 Carl was a wealth of practical knowledge. He enjoyed helping others achieve their goals and complete their plans.
elevated 0B4o3 Sharing his love of fishing with his children and grandchildren was one of his greatest pleasures.
elevated 0B4o3 Visitation will take place at Assumption Catholic Cemetery & Funeral Home, 6933 Tomken Rd, Mississauga, Ontario on Monday, August 18, 2025, at 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
