Carlo was a devoted father to Artemisio, Silvana (Dario-deceased) (John), Antonio (Tina), Rosanna (Frank-deceased), Patrizia (Sean) and Linda (Eddy). Cherished Grandfather to Anthony, Michael, Tino, Joseph, Aidan, Isabella, Joshua, Nicholas, Ava, Carlo, Nadia, Robert, Adriana and Gianluca. He will be held dear in the hearts of his Great-Grandchildren Nathan, Antonio, Chiara, Gia, Eva, Luca and Caia. Predeceased by his parents Artemisio and Maria Bertone and his siblings, Salvatore, Gilda, Bruno, Giuseppe, Paolo, Leonilda, Antonio, Lydia and survived by his sister Rosanne. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.

elevated MbQHs Carlo had a strong sense of family and loyalty to his friends and neighbours. He was the go-to person in times of need. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. His continued passions included tending his vegetable garden, winemaking and preserving the Italian tradition of curing meat. The family table was always brimming with the effects of his labour of love.

elevated MbQHs The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the doctors, nurses and palliative care staff at William Osler Brampton Civic Hospital for the exceptional compassion and comforting care they provided to Carlo and our family during his final days.

elevated MbQHs As expressions of sympathy, the Bertone family kindly asks for donations to be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
