It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Carlos Alberto Santos Carrerio. On January 5th, at the age of 70, Carlos passed away peacefully at the hospital with his family by his side.
elevated DXcDO He was the beloved husband of Maria Eduarda Carreiro for almost 50 years, a devoted father to Steven, Kelly, and Brian, and proud grandfather of Vanessa, Matthew, Taylor, Nathan, Selena, and Lucas.
elevated DXcDO Born in Saõ Miguel to the late Verginio and Maria Carreiro, Carlos lived a full life. In his spare time, he enjoyed carpentry, fishing, gardening, cooking and spending time with his family and friends. His sense of humour, storytelling, and overall kindness will be forever cherished by those closest to him.
elevated DXcDO He is survived by his siblings Ana, Ilda, Betty, Johnny, and predeceased by his brother Joe. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.

You were taken too soon, you had so much life in you.

I just recall admiring the love that my cousin Carlos and his wife Eduarda had for one another. It was beautiful and very real. I wish I could take the hearts ache 😔 and pain away from everyone. But always remember how blessed you were to have such an amazing Husband, Father, grandfather,cousin to many and friend to all. Fly high my cousin may angels great you with warm embrace
