elevated qb8nv It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dearest Carmela Guido on Friday, May 5, 2023. Beloved daughter of Ferdinando and Pasqualina Guido and loving sister of Rose. Carmela had an immense love for family, and her contagious smile and warmth were always present at family gatherings. She will always be remembered for her love of gardening, her creativity in planning events, her delicious cooking, and her passion for bringing family together.

We find comfort in knowing that she is now at peace and reunited with loved ones who have gone before her.

I had the pleasure and privilege to work with Carm when she handled the very hectic and idiosyncratic payroll in the Continuing Education Department. Her dedication to her work, efficiency and effectiveness paired with the kindest approach to all and the sweetest smile no matter what was thrown her way, will always be in our memory.

I was a very little girl when the Guido Family lived behind us, but I remember Carmela so well! She was a delight.
I am so sorry that she has gone, but glad to have known her, once upon a time.
I am truly saddened to hear about the passing of Carm. My sincere condolences to Rose and the Family. I have fond memories of working with Carm in the payroll department more than 20 years ago. I still recall our morning coffee and lunch breaks where she would share stories of places she had travelled and cooking recipes. She was always smiling and had a calming voice and compassionate heart. May you rest in peace beautiful Carm.
