elevated sFnek Obituary

elevated sFnek With deep sadness and broken hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Carmela Taglieri (nee. De Angelis) who passed away peacefully on December 11, 2023 at the age of 83. She is reunited with her loving husband, Antonio, after 25 years.

elevated sFnek She was a devoted mother to Rosamaria (Mario), Anna (George), Franco (Lina) and Chiara (Brian), and loving Grandmother to Joseph (Shannon), Antonio, Daniella (Michael), Christopher, Anthony, Marco, Nicholas, Emily and Kaitlyn. Great-Grandmother to Nolan, Stella and Violet. She will be greatly missed by her sister Maria (Italy) her sister-in-laws, Lidia, Gina, Angela and Valentina, her brother-in-law Guido, and all her nieces and nephews.

elevated sFnek She was predeceased by her parents Emilio and Erminia De Angelis, her parents-in-law Argento and Chiara Taglieri, brother Francesco (Angela (Boston)), sister Elena (Marino (Italy)), sister-in-law-law Maria, brother-in-laws, Alberico, Nicola (Nunziata aka. Adua), Valentino, Cesare , Vittorio and Nicola (Italy).

elevated sFnek Our mother had a loving heart and taught us the meaning of a loving family, selflessness  and the act of kindness.  She loved her family and her home and was always open to everyone. She may have been short in stature, but she was our strength, our rock and our foundation.  We referred to her as “Madalena, the strong and mighty”.  Those who knew her, knew she would rather give than receive.  She loved having her family over for some homemade pasta meals and if you could not be there, no worries a tray of Lasagna would come home to you.  She will be greatly missed by all.
