With deep love and heavy hearts, the family of Carmelo Gauci announces his peaceful passing on November 30, 2025, at the age of 86.

elevated 78oZS Born on February 26, 1939, son of Paul and Cettina Gauci, and brother to Joseph, Elizabeth, Mary and Anthony. Carmelo lived a life defined by hard work, loyalty, and an unwavering devotion to the people he cherished. He was the beloved husband of 56 years to Dorothea, his partner, best friend, and constant source of joy. Together, they built a home full of love, humour, and strength.

elevated 78oZS Carmelo was a proud and devoted father to his daughters Rosanne (John) and Pauline (Luis), who were his pride and purpose. His greatest joy, however, came from being a grandfather. He deeply loved his grandchildren — Sofia, Joshua, Jacob, Olivia, and Victoria — and held close in his heart the memory of his grandchildren Anthony and Nicolas, who predeceased him.

elevated 78oZS A dedicated mechanical engineer, Carmelo approached his work with the same precision and pride he brought to every part of his life. In his spare time, he enjoyed the simple pleasures that made him happiest: afternoons at the horse racing track, and quiet moments sitting in the garage with a cold beer with his beloved dog Brandy, who rarely left his side.
