With sadness in our hearts, we announce the passing of Carmina Carvalho on Monday, July 10, 2023. After a long battle with Alzheimer’s, Carmina passed away peacefully at the Maple Health Centre. Beloved wife of the late Alexandre, and loving mother to the late Denise (Linda). She is survived by her daughter Debbie and sister Anna. Devoted grandmother to Taylor and loving aunt to Phillip, Jennifer, Kristina, David, and Paula. Sister-in-law to Fernando (Amelia) and Altina (the late Antonio). Great-Aunt to Cooper, Charlie, Brady, Carter, and Lucy.
Carmina will be fondly remembered in the hearts of all her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, generosity, kindness, and compassion.
Our family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Maple Health Centre whose care, compassion, and respect allowed our dear Carmina to complete her life’s journey with dignity.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.

My sweet Auntie Carmina 💔. She was the one who introduced me to my husband of 44 yrs. She was a sweet, generous and funny lady. She has left us way too soon, but we we will all cherish the fond memories and all her funny stories.
Gigi, Frank and children ❤️
Our Aunty Carmina was definitely one of my fondest childhood memories. Everything about her from her wonderful laugh to her amazing cooking brings me back. Such a beautiful and selfless woman, we will miss her terribly but so thankful that she was always a part of our lives 💜
Extremely sad on the passing of such a sweet and warm person. We will forever miss all the great memories together. Carmina – you will be deeply missed and we are so happy to have had you in our lives.
Love,
Michael & Ariella
Tia, I don’t think there are any words that can say how much I love you. I’m so proud to call you Tia. The most amazing, loving person. As far back as I can remember being around you and babysitting me in your shop ( Hair Creations ) you had so much love to give and I’ll always cherish every moment I had with you. I am so lucky and grateful to be your nephew. I love you so much. Say hi to Avó, Tio and Denise. I will see you all again one day. Until then I hope you can rest easy and peaceful. Love Filip
Dear Debbie, Taylor, Anna, and family.
Elizabeth, Chloe, and I were heartbroken to hear our Carmina has left us. Carmina was a truly special person with only goodwill in her heart.
We will always remember how sweet and wonderful Carmina, Alex, and Denise were and they will forever remain in our hearts as our family.
With love, Aaron, Elizabeth, and Chloe
