Carmine Palmieri, age 89, of Toronto, Ontario, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2026. 

Born in Faicchio, Italy on November 4, 1936, Carmine was the beloved son of the late Michele and Antonietta Palmieri. He was known for his warm sense of humour and friendly nature. Carmine brought warmth and laughter to everyone around him. Above all, he cherished spending time with his family. Everything he did in life was for them.

An avid sports fan, Carmine loved watching soccer and hockey games, tending to his garden, and taking pride in the simple joys of life. He could often be found relaxing on the veranda, taking in the day and watching the world go by.

Carmine is survived by his loving wife, Maria Palmieri; his daughter, Antonietta (James); his son, Mike (Natasha); and his two beautiful granddaughters, Sara and Olivia. He will be deeply missed by his surviving siblings, extended family, and many dear friends.
