elevated 8Yh7O With the heaviest of hearts we announce the passing of Caterina Tisi, at the age of 80, she left us peacefully in her sleep on September 23, 2025. Caterina was predeceased by her husband Rocco of 56 years. Loving Mother to Filomena(Marco), Josi(Roberto) beloved grandmother to Luca, Sofia, Isabella and Giovanna, brother Vito (Anna Maria) and cherished aunt to many nieces, nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews. She recently returned from a 6 week trip to Italy. She was very happy to have been able to spend the summer with her extended family. Caterina will always be remembered for her caring, loving disposition. She was always willing to help everyone. Caterina was the best mother and grandmother, she was always there for all of us. She was also very happy spending time with her Forum Italia (independent living apartment), family. Enjoying and participating in so many of the social events planed by the team, her days were filled with family, friends and lots of fun. She lived a good albeit short life, she will be dearly missed. Rest in peace dear Mom, we will miss every day.
elevated 8Yh7O As expressions of sympathy, the family asks for donations to Make a Wish Foundation to be made in Caterina’s memory.
I will miss her too. I will miss her free fun spirit. Always smiling always joking around. Like she would always ask me, please watch over for my Josi. I promise signora Caterina i will always watch over Josi! Keep smiling keep joking up in heaven with your Rocco gone too soon! Love you!
I will miss receiving her daily messages. We last spoke on a video call while she was at my cousin Tony’s house in Italy,( she went to him to get her phone fixed) we had a lovely long chat. She will be missed RIP zia
Thank you Helen my mom loved you ❤️
Thank you Maria my loved her nieces and nephews very much
I’ll always remember the day I made Caterina an espresso at the office. When I asked her how it was, she told me with a smile that it was “nu poco sciaquato”. She was a force. And she’ll be missed. You have my condolences.
My deepest condolences to the Tisi family,
It has been some time since I have spoken with Caterina but I had the pleasure of reconnecting about a few months ago over the phone. We had made plans to get together upon her return from Italy but saddened me to hear about her passing.
I got to know Caterina many years ago while working together at Glaxo.
One thing that comes to mind is the laughter I looked forward to every day. Never a dull moment with her. Her warmth and quick wit were truly special. Most importantly is how she lite up when she spoke about her family she treasured. I will never forget her.
You will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
RIP my dear friend.
With heartfelt sympathy,
She did complain about the espresso lol
Thank you Marg she loved working at Glaxo
I will miss Zia, our conversations were brief on FaceTime calls with my Dad and Mum but always good. She picked up the knack on using tech a lot better than her big bro, her Facebook messages always nice.
Thank Tony she loved you guys now she will be reunited with everyone
Filomena,
My sincerest condolences to you and your family. I am happy that your mom was able to enjoy her recent trip to Italy.
Grazie tanti Lucia mama Amato tutti
Being the youngest of 24 brothers and sisters she had a very big family which she loved unconditionally and that very big family loved her too. She will be missed by all of us.
Though we may be so far apart we are so close to you Mena and Josi in this hard and sad moment.
A huge hug from all of us.
My sincere and deepest condolences to Josi and to all of the Tisi family.
Thanks Jason we are still in shock
Dear Josi, Filomena and all your family, we are deeply sorry and sad our beloved Aunty Caterina left so suddenly. We are so happy to have been able to meet her three times, especially being so far away. She was my favorite Aunty, she made us all feel so loved and special. I didn’t want to leave her house when we visited her and Uncle Rocco in Canada because she spoiled us with love and her fabulous cooking. She had the best personality, smile, laughter and spirit. She reminded me so much of my father Giuseppe Russo, they both loved their extended family just as much as their own. Aunty sent me a beautiful message everyday.
Thank you Tony she really loved you guys
We are deeply saddened by the passing of Zia and will miss her deeply. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.
On behalf of my father Vito and mother Anna and the Guerrera family
Thanks Josephine she was planning to come there next year to see you guys. She loved guys a lot
