elevated GC5wO It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Celestina Beneventi (nee Renna), at the age of 88 on Monday, March 11, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Michele Beneventi. Cherished sister of Vito Renna (Angela), Rosa Pacione (the late Luigi), the late Egidio Renna (Rosa), the late Gaetana Mazza (the late Giuseppe), the late Salvatore Renna (Franca), and the late Domenico Renna. Dearest sister in law of the late Giacomo Beneventi (Rachela) and the late Rocco Beneventi (Lena).

elevated GC5wO Celestina was born on July 23, 1935 in Pietrapertosa, Provincia Potenza, Italy. Loving daughter of the late Giuseppe and Francesca Renna.

We are saddened by the news of our dear Zia. She has a special place in our heart. She was a kind and generous person. I am deeply grateful for the time we spent together and the love she gave. RIP Zia. Much Love.
So sorry to hear of Zia Celeste’s passing. Grateful for all the time we shared together from our family meals, time at the cottage and all our family milestone celebrations. The time we spent living with her and Zio Mike will always bring us fond memories from her delicious cabbage rolls to their beautiful vegetable garden, maintaining good neighbourhood friendships and for being a wonderful and attentive wife to Zio Mike. Zia was always happy to be around children and went out of her way to make my kids laugh and feel welcome whenever we spent time together. I will miss her joyful laugh and quirky sense of humour. It makes our loss a bit less painful knowing that her and Zio Mike are reunited again. May she rest in forever peace. 🕊️🙏🏻

We are deeply saddened by the passing of our Zia Celeste. She was a big part of our lives since we were born and we shared many happy moments and family celebrations with her and Zio Mike, they were an integral part of our family gatherings. Whether it was spending time at the cottage, their home, my parent’s home, her presence made every occasion memorable by her caring nature and infectious laughter. Zia Celeste was a devoted and loving wife to Zio Mike, and a loving presence in the life of our children whom she embraced with open arms. Her culinary skills were unmatched and the delicious meals she prepared brought us together in love and appreciation, she had a way of making everyone feel welcome. Though she may no longer be with us in person, Zia Celeste will live on through the countless lives she touched with her warmth and generosity. Rest in peace Zia.
Rest in peace Zia Celeste. My memories of going to the cottage every summer and being welcomed with open arms will live with me forever.
