My sincerest condolences to the Furigay family. Please accept my love and prayers.
I worked with Cely for 20 years in the Coronary Intensive Care Unit at the Toronto General Hospital and remained friends with her for another twenty years. Cely was always kind, compassionate, well respected and a very good nurse.
Over the years, my telephone would ring and it was Cely checking in to see what I was doing! We met for lunch just prior to Covid but sadly had not connected since then. She will be truly missed. ❤️🙏❤️
Cely was one of my first and most important mentors when I first started in ccu 1980 in the basement of the College Wing. We worked together for more than 35 years and I watched her being the very best caring and kindhearted nurse. A dear friend and colleague.
I worked with Cely for 40 years in Coronary Care and Triage. She was a well respected nurse, colleague and good friend.
Cely was very devoted to her family and her mission work in the Philippines.
She will be missed by her family and friends.
I miss you auntie. You were sweet and funny and loving. We will all miss you and your light.
