Cesar S. Abogado, 89, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2025, at North York General Hospital, surrounded by his beloved family. Born in Borongan, Philippines, Cesar was the cornerstone of our family—a man whose unconditional love, strength, and quiet wisdom guided us through life. Cesar earned his law degree from Ateneo de Manila University. He practiced law for ten years before immigrating to Canada in 1973, where he built a beautiful life in Brampton with his wife Bernie and children. After moving to Canada, Cesar continued to serve his community as a real estate agent—a role he embraced with the same honesty, professionalism, and integrity that defined every aspect of his life. Cesar will be remembered for the unwavering love he had for his family, his strength, wisdom, principled nature, faith and devotion to God. His great sense of humour, positive outlook, warmth, and ability to find joy in the simple moments brought happiness to those around him and filled our lives with joy.

With deepest sympathy from DelaCruz Family!
I am so sorry Betty. I am here for you always. You are such a loving and caring daughter. Your dad and mom are in my prayers.
My dearest Betty, Ted, Kiana, Chloe and the rest of the family, our deepest condolences on the passing of your father, grandfather, brother, uncle. This has been a heartbreaking year for your family, and our hearts go out to each of you.
Everything you have done for your parents has been seen and felt—your love, your care, your sacrifices. Even when the weight felt too heavy, you carried it with grace. God’s plan, though often hard to understand, unfolded in His perfect timing. Their place in heaven wasn’t quite ready until now, and they are finally reunited—beginning a new journey, side by side. They are gone but never ever forgotten and will be their in your heart and in spirit to guide you along.
Thinking of you all as we get ready to gather again later this week to say our final good byes. Big tender hugs. Michelle and Louesta xo
