You encouraged us to think critically, to pursue our dreams, and to embrace challenges with courage.
Your wisdom and kindness touched each of us in profound ways, and your legacy will forever live on in the lives you’ve shaped. Thank you for believing in us and for being a guiding light. You will be deeply missed but always remembered.
Your mastery of traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy was truly inspiring. Each brushstroke reflected not just skill, but also the depth of your understanding of art and culture. You taught us to appreciate beauty in every form and to express ourselves creatively.

很幸運能夠在中學就認識到你，最初你是我的數學老師，後來我又加入了你的書法篆刻學會，認識到書法和畫國畫的技巧，教導我怎樣去欣賞藝術品，豐富了我的人生。後來你更每個星期六抽出時間為我們這群學生免費補習數學。非常感激你對我們的厚愛，畢業後也常和我們聚在一起談天說地。移民了每次回來也會跟我們相聚談談近況。你就像一位慈祥的家長將我們這群各散東西的孩子團聚在一起。你是我最敬重的老師，永遠懷念你

I am sad to learn that Mr Hon has passed away.
My deepest condolences to Ruby and his family.
Mr Hon had led a fruitful life full of achievements . He was an artist, talented in painting , Chinese calligraphy and stamp sculpture, as well as photography.
Being a responsible and caring teacher , he earned sincere respect from his students and colleagues.
May Mr Hon rests in peace and keeps on shining in heaven.

去年飲茶聚會時，記得我說「我們的師生關係是一世的！」您說很啱聽。確實也如此，我們的師生關係保持了數十年，雖然不常見，卻感情不變。您是我的數學老師，只有您才能令我明白數學；您是我的補習老師，早上不厭其煩地解答我的提問、放假無條件地抽時間為我們補數；您是我的篆刻老師，培養我對篆刻的興趣、為我們舉辦展覧，建立成就感⋯⋯謝謝您，韓sir！

It is sad to have lost a long-time friend. Colman was a devoted teacher and talented artist who had in his lifetime contributed a lot to the field of art. May I extend my deepest condolences to his family and wish him peace .

每年都期待你和師母從加拿大回港相聚,原來2024的3月見面,已經是最後一次見你了！你要回到你的天家了,很是不捨,很喜歡聽你 和師母說話,從以前到現在,永遠都是正能量,令我們獲益良多,哀心感謝你多年的教導,你的待人處事永遠烙在我們的心中,你慈祥的笑容永遠記在我們的腦海裏,永遠懷念你一最尊敬的韓sir

1960秋天入讀福華街官立實用中學上午班，因校舍尚未建好，中一八班A至H在巴富街山上臨時校舍上課，韓志鴻老師教我班中文，後來才知他初執教鞭。中二開始在深水埗新校上課，升中三及留四中三，老師隨我升班留班，一直當班主任，都教數學，多奇妙的緣份！
倚仗老師穩植根基，兩年後中學會考，中文中史及數學三科成績良好，近十年我的詩詞博落忝存拙作二百。
身為童軍的老師常於暑期領我們到西貢坑口一帶遠足游泳，改善了自小瘦弱體質，托福今天年逾古稀身體還過得去。
老師多才多藝，書法淵博，水彩畫自成一家，兼篆刻大師，杏壇引退後，學書畫篆藝者眾。
半世紀春風化雨，誨人不倦，我輩崇敬不已，雖魂歸天國，音容宛在，請師母節哀。
