elevated vvQoP Obituary
elevated vvQoP It is with profound sadness that we announce the very sudden passing of Christopher Chan on February 8, 2026.
elevated vvQoP Christopher was born in 1969 to Robert and Phyllis Chan. He was the youngest of three children and shared a special bond with his sisters, Angelina and Rebecca. Growing up, he affectionately teased them with playful nicknames — calling Angelina “Gorilla” and Rebecca “Monster” — a reflection of the lighthearted and loving dynamic they shared. These childhood memories remained treasured stories within the family. He is deeply mourned by his mother, Phyllis, whose love and guidance shaped his life.
elevated vvQoP In 1984, Christopher immigrated to Canada, first to Montreal and then to Toronto, embracing new opportunities and challenges. He later returned to Hong Kong in 1992 before ultimately settling back in Canada in 2007 with his new family. Like many young men finding their way, his early years were a time of growth and learning. Marriage and fatherhood became defining chapters in his life, grounding him with purpose and strengthening his sense of responsibility. From that point forward, he devoted himself wholeheartedly to his family.
elevated vvQoP After a period of transition, Christopher began his career in Toronto with Canada Post in 2016, where he worked faithfully. He was known for his reliability, strong sense of responsibility, and dedication. His colleagues respected him for his steady work ethic and kind nature.
elevated vvQoP Above all else, Christopher was a devoted family man. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Anna; his cherished children, Erica and Anthony; his mother, Phyllis; his sisters, Angelina (Andrew) and Rebecca (Eric); his nephews, Douglas and Oliver; and his nieces, Richelle and Renee. His family was his greatest pride and joy, and he worked tirelessly to support and guide them. Whether through quiet sacrifices or everyday acts of care, he showed his love through steadfast presence and unwavering commitment.
elevated vvQoP Christopher will be remembered for his humility, perseverance, and deep loyalty to those he loved. His steady growth, strength of character, and devotion to his family leave a lasting legacy in the hearts of all who knew him.
elevated vvQoP He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

It’s very sad and hard to accept he left us suddenly. No other words can describe my feelings about his loss. I will dearly miss our brother forever. May God’s peace, comfort and love be upon to the family during this difficult time.
Please accept our deepest condolences to the family.
The Lord is my shepherd;…He lets me rest in green meadows Psalm 23
May Christopher rest in peace
We were one of the few Chan’s families that stayed behind in HK until my family migrated to Canada in 1975. Because of that, we got to see other each other more than
the rest of the Chan’s families who migrated to Canada much earlier than we did.
Christopher has always been known to me as a mischievous, cheerful, helpful and caring nephew. I will forever remember his smily expressions with his charming dimples. Christopher, we will miss you very much but I am sure we will see each other in the better place one day.
My heart goes out to you in your time of passing. You were more than just a colleague and friend – you were a brother. I’ll miss our breakfasts together and our partnership in every venture. May you find eternal peace.
Our deepest sympathy from 31 Brodie. All 200 employees were shocked and sad when they heard the news. Chris will be greatly remembered and missed at our station.
Christopher, a playful mischievous but a kind hearted lad with no malicious intent.
We are sorry to hear of the passing of Christipher.
Our deepest sympathies, on behalf of your ‘Villegas’ cousins in the Philippines, US and Canada
He was a good boss and friend . I often stopped by his office on our long night shifts and had many conversations with him , not seeing him there now is profoundly heartbreaking and we will all miss him and never forget him. I am so sorry for all of his family to have this life changing experience way too soon and wish I could change this reality we all are forced to accept.
Forever remembered and respected I will really miss the levity you provided and the funny moments we shared on those tedious night shifts
