Peacefully and surrounded by his family, Chung-Yang Song passed away at the age of 82 years, after a courageous battle with cancer at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto. He was a gentle, loving soul, whose infectious smile and desire for those around him to be happy will be remembered. He is survived by his loving, devoted wife Kyong Il, his son Junho (with wife Alice), and daughter Jinhee (with husband Adrian). His grandchildren, Emma, Asher, Ben, and Ava will also miss their caring, nurturing grandfather. Chung-Yang was a family man who celebrated life. He will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Sending condolences and love from Winnipeg. Mr. Song was always so welcoming to all us Etobicoke kids growing up with Jin when we would come over to their house or visit the store. Our hearts are with you and we will be watching the stream tomorrow.
