elevated hABl9 Clara was born January 17, 1932 in Cadiz, Spain. She was the eldest of 4 daughters, Barbara, Marisa, and Gloria, born to Maria Delores Rodriguez Llano and Miguel Bestard Comas. She was deeply loved and will be missed by her sisters, their families, and her children who adored her Wanda, Jorge and Carmen, their spouses, Terry, Natalie and Peter and her precious grandchildren, Victoria, Michelle, Miguel, and Isabel.
elevated hABl9 Forever the fashionista, Clara’s beauty and style has been admired throughout her life–even in her final years she permeated elegance and grace. She worked as a model in her youth before marrying the love of her life, George, starting a family and moving to Canada. Clara was a homemaker, real estate agent, community volunteer and occasional belly dancer. For us, she was and will forever be a “mimosa” (affectionate and loving), a sweet natured mama who loved unconditionally. We will miss her good humour and kisses.

elevated hABl9 The family invites everyone to view the Mass of Christian Burial online Friday August 5, 2022 at 1:30pm to view the Service, Please Click Here. Following the Mass, Clara will be interred at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.

Your mom continues to be an icon for me. She was witty, very funny and on top of that very beautiful, and, yes fashionable. She loved all of you, her children, and was proud of each and everyone of you. I’m sure each grandchild was the apple of her eye.
She will continue to shine in all of you. Her charm, her intelligence, her kindness and her beauty lives on in all her children and grandchildren.
