elevated 30czt Obituary
It is with great sadness and deep love that we announce the passing of Claudio Baldo on July 15, 2026 at the age of 67.

elevated 30czt Beloved son of his cherished mother, Igina Cunego, Claudio is now reunited in Heaven with his beloved father Alfonso Baldo. Claudio will be forever cherished and lovingly remembered by his family in Italy, his “Canadian” family, Mary, Anthony, Michael and Daniel, his walking buddy, Gianni, his dear friend, Silvana, as well as his many other friends and clients who described him as kind, honest, intelligent, trustworthy and professional.

elevated 30czt Claudio was born on April 19, 1959, in the town of Vigliano, province of Biella, in the Piedmont region of northwestern Italy. In 1989, he departed for Canada to embark on his career based on textiles and the Bespoke industry. He developed a profound knowledge of style, fabrics and elegance. In 2024, Claudio decided to embark on his own venture, and founded Sartotex. He created a profitable business, securing important suppliers from Italy. He mostly enjoyed meeting his clients in person to present the new seasonal collections. He established himself as a respected businessman who took pride in offering excellent customer service. Claudio was highly regarded by his clients for his professionalism, kindness and genuine care, earning their trust, respect and lasting friendships.

elevated 30czt As committed and successful as he was in his work, Claudio loved to go hiking every Saturday on the Bruce Trail. He enhanced his photography skills by taking beautiful nature shots. He always felt invigorated when he returned home from a hike.

elevated 30czt Claudio was a devoted son who cared for his mother, Igina, with unwavering love and dedication, ensuring her every need was met with kindness and compassion.

elevated 30czt Claudio was a true fighter, facing a courageous battle with his health with remarkable strength, determination and grace. Through every battle, setback and painful moments, he never stopped fighting. He faced his journey with dignity, resilience and love, holding on until his last breath. He was an inspiration to all those who knew and loved him. Though he is no longer with us, Claudio’s memory will live on in the hearts of family, and many dear friends. Although Claudio’s light has gone out here, we are comforted knowing that it shines even more brightly in God’s presence.
