elevated z2ALf We mourn the passing of Clifford Joseph Riviere, age 80, who died peacefully on January 16, 2026, at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Toronto.
elevated z2ALf He was born in Roseau, Dominica, and emigrated to Canada with his wife Patricia in 1973. A graduate of the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine campus, he had a rewarding career in agronomy, life sciences, and education. He was also an accomplished guitarist, as well as a talented artist, whose paintings have pride of place in the homes of many of his friends and family.
elevated z2ALf Clifford was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, known for his quiet demeanour, wry sense of humour, and most excellent rum punch. He will be greatly missed.
elevated z2ALf In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Our Lady of Good Counsel Caribbean Catholic Church.
