elevated orIsa It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Concetta Capone on Monday May 25, 2020  in Toronto. Concetta was in her 92nd year. Born on August 8th, 1928 in Serra di Pratola, Avellino Italy. Concetta came to Canada in 1967.

elevated orIsa Concetta is survived by her beloved sister Gilda and preceded in death by her sister Bruna and her brother Pasquale Angelo. Concetta will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews along with her many great nieces and nephews, all of whom loved her dearly.

elevated orIsa Concetta’s family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Villa Colombo Toronto for the dignity and respect they showed her during her stay. A special thank you to the second floor staff who was very loving, caring and attentive to Concetta’s needs.

elevated orIsa Concetta lived a long and full life through simple pleasures: sitting outside in the garden, taking walks, chatting with friends and family, and spending time with her nieces and nephews. Concetta’s friendly and social nature touched people in a deep and positive way even with a language barrier. Concetta was sassy, fierce and funny. She will be missed deeply by all who knew and loved her.

elevated orIsa Due to the circumstances surrounding COVID 19, a private family service will be taking place at Holy Cross Funeral Home.This service will be webcast for family or friends. If you wish to attend the service via webcast, please reach out to the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to Villa Charities Foundation – Toronto, in honour of Concetta’s memory.
